Recently I shot some Atlanta Arms 9mm 115 JHP Elite ammo. When I collected the spent shells and measure the case wall thickness, I was seeing a range of .008 -.011.
I certainly cant question the accuracy of their ammo. However, how can they get consistent neck tension with that kind of variance in case wall thickness?
BTW - I also measured the bullets crimp before I fired them. I was also surprised that I was seeing a consistent .374 crimp on a .355 diameter bullet which is way more than I think most people crimp their 9mm rounds.
Thoughts?
