I broke down and bought an ATN Night Arrow 4 - CGT generation night vision scope and mounted it on my Bushmaster .223 and am very pleased with it. I was able to spot a raccoon at 120 yards with it. I didn't shoot it, I was coyote hunting at the time but I had him in the crosshairs. I never would have even known it was out there without this scope. I sighted it in at 60 yards and had a 5 shot group practically in the same hole. This scope is very clear and I can't wait to get a yote with it.

This is the second night vision scope I have owned. The first one was a gen 2+ but impossible to zero. If you moved your eye away from the scope at all your next shot would be 2 to 3 inches off in any given direction every time. it now serves as a spotting scope.

I was leary of the CGT generation mainly because I had never looked through one before buying this one but after getting it, I don't think I could justify spending the extra money on a gen 3 for as good as the CGT looks for half the price. I am sure the gen 3 is superior, but this one is more than adequate in my opinion. It has a wire reticle and the center is red.
