Anybody that has one or has used one of these what is your opinion? I have been debating on getting one for my AR-15 because I like the open reticle instead of looking through a tube like a normal red dot. It seems a bit too good to be true though looking at the price, and I can't help but wonder what the quality is on these.

Was also considering an ATN 5X33L if I didn't go with a reflex sight such as the Ultra, but I'll probably save that for when I get a 20" upper.

The Ultra is not parallax free, and tends to "wobble" a bit. For close in work, it's probably ok but there are better sights for that $$. The Hakko panorama for instance I've heard is more stable and is parallax free.

The Ultra "Digital" that ATN makes IS parallax free but costs more.

If it were my money, i'd pony up for an Eotech or a Bushnell Holosight at the very least. When you compare both side by side, you realize how much nicer, and rugged the Holosight family is.

Yeah that seemed to be the conclusion I was coming to. I just wish there was a place around here that carried them where I could actually see them in person before buying. Damn you NJ and your lack of gun stores. :banghead: :cuss:
