I'm considering getting a reflex type red dot sight for my m4gery.I have the tube type Bushnell trophy red dot on my AK and LOVE how fast it is in acquiring targets, but I think I wanna try the reflex style on my AR.What ones have you all tried and liked? What do you think is the best balance o cost vs reliability vs accuracy, etc? My only stipulation for the thread is dont bother mentioning Eotechs or Aimponts.I just cant afford them (but
I'm certainly not disparaging them in ANY way, I'm sure they are the best,but I just cant justify a sight tht costs 50% or greater of the value of my gun itself).So what does everyone like? Tres a coule ATN sigh I'm conidering, as theprice is pretty reasonable ($100-$150), and they eem to have a vey good rep, but if someone has found another maker that is cheaper, and that they trust on a SD/HD/SHTF gun,I'm all ears.Thanks in advance.
Side question, are the Reflexs tyle and faster/better than the tube style for any reason? My Bushnell is REALY fast, and (to my surprise) the scope virtually dissapers with both eyes open but it SEEMS like the reflex wouldbe even faste, and give a clearer view of the target (the tube style does blur/obscure the target a little, but not bad at all).Any downside to reflex vs tube?
