I have tested the following in my gun:
Eagle Accessories 30 round mags
butler creek composite 25 roung mags
butler creek steel lip 25 round mags
butler creek hot lips 25 round mags
Ramline 50 round mags/drums

None of them worked reliably. So, after much research I decided to try Tactical innovations 25 round adjustable mags... TI25 wins hands down!

I'm not associated with them, i'm just a 1022 owner who spent $150 on hi-caps that didn't work. I had such great success with the TI25, I had to share it with this board :)

Well thanks for doing the research and reporting it. I bought some of those buttlercreek ones like 10 years ago, and the both failed badly, so I kinda gave up on those hi-cap bannana type mags. I'll check em out!

I have used both Butler creek without any failure. My 10/22 will shot any mags. The ammo seems to be an issue lately.

the el cheapo eagles work for me, maybe I got good ones, maybe everybody has different experiences with mags.

Some advice on the Eagles, they are picky about ammo. Mine will work with Federal/CCI/Remmington but jams every round with Winchester. The factory 10rd mag will feed the Winchester but not the Eagle 30 rounders.

My experience shows me that different individual guns will act differently with the aftermarket mags. Some guns work with some brands , some don't.
Safe bet is that most all of then actually work best with the 10 round factory mags

I have had a crap-load of problems with all of my 10-22 mags. Though most of the problems can be fixed by completely taking apart the mags and soaking them with nitro-solvent(if you're as cheap as me). The majority of the problems are from unclean weapons.

Is your barrel's extractor slot lined up and centered correctly? Seems like it shouldn't be that unreliable with so many different mags?

I've had reliable feeding with the hotlips mags, but strangely a lot of jams with the "premium" steel lips mags.
