Aurgh, leaking powder from Lee Pro Auto Disk!

Mine used to leak a lot. I figured out that the plastic hopper split along the threads of the screw which holds it to the metal base. It's not that easy to see, just a hairline crack. You said you tried tightening it down though? If yours was split like mine I'd think you'd notice the screws acting stripped.

"Used to leak" because I don't use that brand any more. :D

I got the pro one, I already read about the stripping screws and broken hoppers, so I skipped that problem. I have much less fear about tightening down the brass thingys. :D

Well, the leaking stopped, I just put scotch tape on the base between the disk and base until I couldn't see any light shining underneath it. I don't crank down the brass tighteners real tight, so as to not scrape away the tape. So it works well, more dies are in the mail, and I am happily loading away.

Though the Dillon AT500 I passed up with powder measure and dies at the show would have been a nice companion with the Lee on the bench, especially for $150. Oh well, live and learn...
