Aussie Robbers tie up kids & mom and steal sports pistols

When I was a youth, in the days before caller ID and widespread credit card use, sometimes we would call and have pizza and flowers delivered to the house of the old cranky guy with guns.


I feel kinda bad now, thinking about it from either perspective (the old man or the teenager wanting to be paid).

Do they not have peepholes in doors in Australia?!

Who just opens their door like that?

I'm afraid that one of the downsides of living in a very safe, friendly and open nation is that people are not accustomed to expecting to be killed at any given moment. My Australian friends think I'm crazy for grabbing my shotgun and handing them a pistol and extra ammo whenever we hear a knock on the door. Talk about sheeple.
