An all metal version of the very cool Strike One pistol, along with a greatly enhanced 2.5lb trigger, so what's not to love?

I love the design and the bore axis was the lowest of any semi auto pistol in the world in 2014 when it debuted. It still has the lowest bore axis of any locked breech semi auto that I know of. It also has the best striker fired trigger I've ever felt.

The Ergal, with its very high quality construction and materials used turn a very good pistol into an absolutely exceptional pistol.

The design is Russian, but its manufactured in Italy...MSRP $2200

Nah, its not bad at all. I have many handguns with way, way more aggressive grip patterns.

Yes

It is a Strike One, they just dropped the name for this one. I doubt it will be produced in much quantity.

Nice nice pistol.

I happened to shoot with the basic Strike One equipped with the optional factory race aluminum trigger and I liked it a lot but didn't have the urge to buy it. Mechanically the Strike One is interesting but in the same price range (at least in Italy) I finally preferred the rotary lock-up barrel slovak Grand Power pistol.

Arsenal Firearms recently introduced the Ergal Pro model which is an Ergal model with a totally smooth frame and without the picatinny rail.
I don't understand what the purpose of having a completely smooth aluminum frame is but it certainly looks good and very stylish: https://arsenalfirearmsitalia.it/ergal-pro/

Yes I already have a Pro model on order for when it gets imported. I am told this summer.
