Charles Daly Monthly eNewsletter
May 2003
Vol. 1, Issue 11

Thank you for your interest in Charles Daly products
and visiting www.CharlesDaly.com. If you're a handgun
enthusiast, or just appreciate remarkable design in
firearms, you'll love our product feature for May.

This month we'd like to introduce you to one of our
latest additions to the Charles Daly full line of
custom crafted firearms: the Charles Daly HP.

A 9mm, double stack, single action, semi-auto pistol,
the Daly HP is made in America of high quality materials
to exacting standards. The Daly HP is based on John
Browning's 1935 design, recognized as one of the best
pistols designs ever.

The Daly HP comes standard with the advanced XS sight
system for rapid target acquisition, set into front
and rear dovetail cuts on the slide. Further enhancements
in JB's original design include an improved extended
slide release, improved thumb safety, Uncle Mike's rubber
grips and combat hammer. One ten round magazine and a
carrying case with safety lock are also included. Pre-ban
13-round high-capacity magazines will be available for sale
from your local dealer or directly on our website starting
in mid-June.

Extremely well balanced and accurate, the Daly HP is a
joy to shoot and, like all Charles Daly custom crafted
firearms, competitively priced. The HP will be shipping
to distributors soon; check with your dealer or our
web site www.CharlesDaly.com for delivery dates.

The Charles Daly HP carries an MSRP of $499, hundreds
of dollars less than similar firearms.

Puff pc. or not...I like it! If its an FEG gun...more power to them.
As far as quality goes....ya FEG isnt the king, but its ALOT better than the POS FM contract produced Argentine guns Ive shot. The little FEG is actually nicer than some real FN Belgian HP's Ive seen lately also. So whats not to like?
Dealer should be in the low 300's$....pretty decent.
Im gonna see one in person and go from there.......
Shoot well

A true HP clone, with Ashley Express-like sights from the factory? I'll run out and buy one if MSRP is $400 or less.

So now the FEGs are better than the FMs?!!

I can't keep up on the state of cheap HP art.

I've shot two of the Argentine FMs and was impressed by both of them. Call me a snob but for some reason, the FEG gun doesn't really appeal to me though my very trustworthy dealer says even the picky guys are generally pleased with them.

As for the Daly HP, if my dealer has them for $300 or just over, I'll pick one up and give a range report.

A High Power for that kind of money would be sweet. I hope it is everything you hope it to be. Let us hear your reports when you get yours. I will hold off. I already have two Brownings and one Israeli surplus FN. The Browning High Power is a fantastic handgun.

Why is everyone so enthused about this Daly thing when they don't know what it is?

Cratz, for instance, doesn't care for a $200 FEG, but would pay $300 for a Daly, which may be an FEG.

What's next????.....Jennings, Davis, and etc.....Charles Daly has been getting bad write-ups for a long time in all the mags and also gun test..............even their semi-auto shotguns are POS, and the only good gun they ever made was the o/u trap shotgun...................

I like the FEG version as it is (price wise). But an improve one for a little $ more, is even nicer! I'll check 'em out and decide from there too! If its good enough, I'll buy it!
Dealer price should be around $300 if MSRP is said to be $400+.

P.S.
They said its all U.S.A. made though? If it is, who's making it for them?

I will admit it looks pretty good though.........if the price came down to $100, probably would buy it...........I figure it is about 1/5th or 1/6th the value of a Browning HP....
