I see you are also from South Florida. Given the humidity down here, I have basically given up on all 100% leather holsters. The humidity makes the leather soft which in addition to reducing retention, makes it very difficult to train with. I don't want to carry with any holster, I can't practice with. Pure, leather holsters get floppy, requiring that I stick my fingers in front of the muzzle of the gun when re-holstering.

I recently started using an azula holster for my walther ppq 9mm. This is the best holster I have used for cc. The fit is perfect, the belt clip is top notch, and the comfort shield (extended leather ear) really makes it comfortable. This is a nice everyday carry holster and the price is right!
