For those that have issues with the + adapter all I can say is this.

It works for me in some circumstances and enhances the ability of the pistol to be shot fast and accuratly. The + adapter does NOT add bulk to the rear grip section of a G26 The angle still allows for the G26 butt to be easily concealed BETTER than a G19 or G17. You get the extra capacity with NO loss of concealability on the belt.

I have two of them and both have a flat base and a Glock + base available. They work well with either. I will mention that my G26 pistols have won me four Glock pistols in competition at GSSF matches. The flat base 10 round magazine was NOT used in any of those matches because I, a 285lb old fart myself, shoot the G26 better with the adapter or a full size magazine in the gun.

My opinion and worth every cent you paid for it! :)

Jon I don't need to tell any boys anything, the sub compact, should explain itself to you, it's about concealability, if you honestlly think that a grip extension does not make the pistol print more, then you havent been carrying glocks since they came out. I can say from 1993, with my 23, to 95 with my 27, there was a big difference in the way the gun printed. I also carry a Glock 19 reload, for my current 26, but you really will never convince me that adding that extra piece of plastic doesn't make the gun print, bind and dig into even iwb holsters.Or catch on an ankle holster or just ,make it bigger period, or it would not be called an extension. By the way I am not speaking about handgun chamionships, only the ability to use a concealed wepon, with no additions, so I am happy theat you won those nice pistols, but it had nothing to do with what I was refering to. The concept of having a "small concealable handgun" was what it was about without the necessity of additions, or we would all be walking around with 33 round mags in out guns.

It goes on the front of the grip, not the back. The back of the grip prints, the front doesn't. Look at your pics and you can see the extra chunk on the back of the larger grip compared to my pic. If you carry, as you say, unless you carry it upside down or canted backwards then it does not print any more. I also do not understand how you can claim a 2 finger grip is as good as a 3 finger grip while shooting a pistol. Makes no sense. Yes, you can shoot with the smaller grip but it is easier with the extension especially under extreme duress. There is nothing you can say that will make me see it your way because you are just plain wrong.

I don't think either one qualifies as a pocket gun due to size. However, the G26 is smaller all around. I have both and they make great IWB guns, I also use the grip extension to get a full grip during rapid fire.

I almost always keep my grip extension mag in my 26. Not because I need it, I can shoot just fine without it, but I just prefer it. Enough said about that....

Me personally, I don't see a difference shooting with an extension or without one. My target looks the same either way. If I'm using IWB and worried about printing, which is rare, I use a GAP floor plate which is more about the draw than anything else. The only reason for an extension to me is more rounds. I don't see a need for a +0 finger extension at all. I think if more people tried the GAPs the plus 0 extensions would pretty much go away. I generally carry with a +2 but its about rounds and nothing else. I live in Arizona, constitutional carry is the law, as a result I don't worry much about detection.

I use a couple of the +0 Pearce extensions on G26 mags so I always one available as a spare.

Why as a spare? Because I find it easier and more sure to have the slightly extended base for reloading the spare in the short grip frame of the subcompact G26.

I just happened to be viewing some utube videos on rifles and came accross nutinfancys review of the g26 where he agrees that you should learn yo shoot the g26 without the extensions if you don't already, I will end on this note as we have a right to agree to disagree that's what makes this a great place to be, for anyone interested it's a 3 part review and I believe this is the part where he mentions this,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNB2EXzvZrM&NR=1,
I took this from that floor plate from the gap model, just to reference what we were discussing,Another magazine extension addresses this issue by lengthening the Glock 26, 27, and 33's grip via a magazine attachment. This compromises the weapon's concealability and compactness. At GAP Enterprises, we ask, "Why make a handgun intended for concealment bigger?" Our Finger Rest Extension provides the shooter with Concealable Control™. The Concealable Control™ concept allows the shooter's hand to immediately acquire and retain a proper firing grip on the weapon without sacrificing its original high-capacity, concealable design.
