That's crazy! But I don't think standing close to something that is about to explode is the safest practice in the world:banghead:
YouTube is full of people shooting tannerite up close.
 
Not quite the same thing, but we took a buddy paintballing for the day on his Bachelor party...made him wear a neon pink shirt too.

Our property owners private range banned users from using tannerite because of some overzealous (stupid) deployment.

Whatever shooting bachelor party you have, be safe, and congratulations to the groom!
 
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. It was the bachelor's idea of just hanging out on the farm and having a fun afternoon of shooting and grilling with us. He's one of those guys that would rather sit around a fire with a couple of cold ones than fight for shots at a strip club, so what we have planned should work out pretty well.

No problem man. And I wasn't trying to single you out or anything. I know in your OP you said no one would drink until after the gunplay was over. Just wanted to toss a reminder that at SOME point the guns have to go from vehicles to safes or whatever. Best to do that sober.

I had a negligent discharge in my early 20's when I was stone cold sober, and recently had a bit of a scare over a round in the pipe that I didn't know was there on a gun I had checked the night before.. my eyes were lying to me this last time. Again, I was sober. Neglected to take that step of feeling the chamber - ejector didn't grab the round, and my eyes told me it was empty...

Anyway, people can (and often do) make mistakes sober.

The risk of mistakes grows exponentially with each beer.

Sorry if I come across as being preachy - but mistakes in this discipline can be deadly, real fast.

Come out to Vegas for the standard bachelor party and then hit up one of the many full auto rental ranges that we have. There is nothing like shooting a full auto.
 
bachelor parties usually mean drinking and with guns around that might not be the best idea. what ever happened to exotic dancers?? lol
