That looks fun.

How did I do for never shooting an MG before?

I don't know. I have never shot or seen one shot in person. I could tell you had a lot more control with the sterling 9mm.

You didn't drop it or hit any birds, so I'd say you did alright :D Good stance, just gotta keep a hold of it more in my opinion. Don't be afraid to pull on it - when you stop shooting the gun should lurch down as you stop pulling.

By the way, the Sterling isn't WW2 era - it was first manufactured in 1953 ;)

Looks like it was just about awesome! I might have to make the trip next time, I've always wanted to go

How much did the rentals cost?

It was 100.00 for those three, and the rest were

M249 and M1919 65.00 for 50 rounds

SMG's were 35.00 each

EBR's were around 40.00

3 shots of dummy from the M203 was about 65.00

Packages of three (like mine) were 100.00

VERY well worth my money.

It should also be noted flamethrowers were about 175.00 but I have no desire to shoot that as I am uncomfortable with a bomb on my back.

You know, there is a spoof MasterCard commercial in all this. Priceless.

Bank account lighter. Smile much bigger though.

When I was in college, I took a Military Science Course. The main reason I took the course was to shoot a M-16. The ROTC, didn't have its own range and shot at the private range in town, I was a member and got out there before the class and brought a couple of my LR guns. I introduced myself to the SGT who was in charge of the shooting. We starting BSing about guns and I let him have at it with my stuff. (He had a ball hitting clay pigeons at 500 yards) The class finally showed up and we all shot our 30 round mag of ammo. (Great that was fun, but its done). The class left and my buddy and I will still there and the SGT says, "we got a couple thousand rounds left over, you want to help us burn it up" I guess it was shoot it or lose it. So we spent the next couple hours burning through .223. Damn that was a fun time.

I gotta get to Knob Creek one of these days, looks like fun.

I'm definitely going to head back there in the future, hopefully with my own items to shoot
