Agreed. I blame the booking agent at least as much as the outfitter. If he recommends a hunt, it reflects on his reputation. Telling you its your problem after he's collected his commission is BS.

This is 100% a booking agent issue. The exact reason to use a booking agent is that they’ve supposed to have done their homework on the outfitters they are selling the hunt for!

I guess we don’t have both sides of the story here but I am really surprised that this could happen with GHR and Aaron.
The guy has his own television show, “The World of Sports Afield” his own production company, his booking agency amongst some other endeavors. You’d think he’d be a bit more concerned about his reputation in the hunting business.

The thing is we did contact references, however who knows if they are valid or not. Come to find out some of the pictures the outfitter posted were family members, which is fine. But lies are lies Did he guide them? . Dont sell us tags that your are unable to service. He was not a guide on the reservation. So the guide was not supposed to be there. He could hunt for himself. But not outfit there. Wish I knew that when we there. Plus no arrangements were made for us. It was amazing they even picked us up in the mornings. Guess they wanted tips

This is not the first time I’ve heard of stories like this with Canadian Outfitters. While obviously there are some reputable ones. There is also a sect who seem to understand that there is no recourse for foreign hunters once they’ve got your money.

Here is my last communication With Josh from (GHR/Shooting stix safari) I may post the full text from both Aaron and Josh and combined text string. The last one is From Aaron to Josh. Josh puts it all on the Outfitter Randy. Yes the most does fall on the guide but also on Josh and Aaron
