In reloading mistakes, there are those that have and those that will. Just have a spider get into your reloading room, you have a dark hole that they just love for a nest. Think about it.
I keep different lengths of steel rods with the edges of both ends broken then the rods wrapped with masking tape at both ends to match the bore diameter. I use these rods to start pure lead bullets for bore diameter swaging. If you shoot cast bullets it is a prerequisite to sizing your bullets. Case lube helps to drive bullets. But these rods with flat ends work well to remove stuck bullets. One caution, a stuck jacketed rifle bullet can be a bear, but Liquid Wrench will, after two or three days, work between the barrel steel and the bullet, allowing the bullet to move in reverse. Driving the bullet in the direction it was going is always preferable if possible.
