Badger Tactical Knob for 700

Just Curious I am kicking around the Badger Tactical Knob for my 700.

Has anyone ever seen a bolt handle break off because of normal use? Im looking at the H.D rifles 700 bolt mod but not sure if i need it or not? I'll post the link so everyone can have a look. I know I want the knob but not sure if i need the mod? Any one have this done?

There was a reason that Jeff Hicks came up with that bolt mod for the Rem 700's; they will come off when used aggressively as in a tactical situation. BTW, I had George Gardner at GA Precision install the Badger bolt knob on my FN SPR - VERY NICE!

Terry Cross has one that he blends in well with the rest of the shaft so there is no abrupt drop off where the bolt handle ends. It looks great.
