Tacticl bolt knob on a hunting rifle?

I have decided to sell my ADL rifle due to lack of love of it. I am thinking of getting a SPS. The 700's bolt knob is a pain in my opinion because it is just too small. Would putting the badger tactical bolt knob on a SPS that will be used only for hunting a bad idea? I am worried the size will be too big, and the bolt will stick out so much that it will catch on tree lims of brush and open the bolt. I really like the 700, but the bolt knob needs some wok. Thanks!!!
