Have not fired it yet. Triggers are heavy ,front one has very little take up,breaks clean. Rear one creeps forever mushy at let off. Weighs 6 pounds 10 ounces on my postal scale. Swings like a light 20 gauge double . Swivel loops are attached with a screw to mount . Removed swivel loops reamed mounts to take QD swivel loops . Going to put shot gun 2x scope on it. Scope mount that came with gun was loose on the rail on gun . Ordered a better on on ebay. If it is loose I am going to do a little milling on it. Due to triggers I am not going to fire it till i get the scope mounted.

I always gave that rifle a lot of second glances, I bet it's a thumper on both ends at 6+ pounds.

Hope the triggers break in for you and you get the scope set up.

Give us a range report when you get it wringed out.

It has a 6 point screw holding the bottom cover going to use my impact driver AM. Need to check & or adjust sears.

fun rifle; dickens to get the barrels adjusted. I have had a lot of fun with mine since I got it.

Put a Burris fastfire on mine. 405 grain cast works well out of it, Don;t load too hot the thin barrels won't take it.

I have removed lots of engine screws on jap bikes with inpact driver. With no damage to the screw. Going to start out with a small hammer.

I send my pict. to a pict. hosting site, then go there and get the addy, to add it in my post here...

Took the bottom off the receiver, the sear springs were so strong could not compress them with my fingers. put much softer springs in but the sears would not catch the hammers. Got some Century C500 5/32x 9/16 springs cut 1/8 inch off them . triggers are a lot better. the mushy left trigger was caused by the sear arm sliding off to the side of the trigger.Bent it in for better contact. Only hit the impact driver [ the kind u hit with a hammer ] one time to break the 6 point screw loose

Won't stay that way if imports are truly blocked for any real duration...

No Buffalo Bore loads then?

Numrich shows stock on left & right sears , & some other parts i have checked. did not have a butt stock or barrels.

Marlin Levers in 45-70's are loaded to about 27,000 PSI. FYI 2200 BAR is 31900 PSI you should be safe with those loads
