Baikal Double Rifle

Does anyone know if the Baikal double rifles are still being made or imported, specifically the SPR 22 SxS by Remington- or used to be???

I have heard that remington no longer imports them. I also heard they will now be sold under another name and I found the web site and the guns appear different and upgraded. Likely much more costly, too.

Baikal parts

I have been offered a sxs Baikal at a good price, but am concerned about possible parts and service. When they first appeared in this country I could get no responses from Baikal or EAA either by phone or letter concerning service and possible repair. If nothing is available the bargain becomes an anchor!
