Well I am running into a brick wall and I'm looking for some help! Any one out there have any idea where I can find an extractor for this baby?
Thanks in advance!
Todd

Can't you use a 1911 extractor? I may be wrong I have not had one of those in my hand for 3 yrs.

1911 verse Molina extrator...

I had been told that they are similar, but that the Ballester version is a different length. Thus far I have not been able to get my hands on a 1911 one (funny how the gun shop guy doesn't want to disassemble a new Springfield .45 to do a comparison for me) ;)
I may just have to order a 1911 extractor to find out for myself, but was hoping someone could confirm their interchangability first.
I appreciate any help confirming or denying this one guys!
Thanks!
Todd

Thank you!

Thank you very much! That is the same impression I was under, that barrel (bushing included) and magazine were the only directly interchangable pieces.
Now I can get that battle horse back into action!
Thanks!

Just FWIW, the B-M extractor is shorter than the 1911 and is of such a shape that it cannot be made from a 1911 extractor.
