Barnes XPB in Rifle Cartridges?

Has anyone tried the 140gr. Barnes XPB in their .35 Remington or .356 Winchester loads? I was just doing some semi-out-of-the-box thinking and wondering if the all-copper bullets, being longer, would have enough bearing surface to stabilize properly; and if they would be tough enough to stay together and penetrate well at increased rifle velocities on deer-sized game.
