i just bought a tokarev 7.62x25mm handgun and im having some problems.
i got home and i went to break it down to clean off all of the cosmoline, and within one minute i hit a major bump in the road. i have taken the slide off and removed the spring. the only thing on the slide is the barrel bushing and consequently the barrel.
in theory once the spring is removed the barrel bushing should be rotated clockwise 180 degrees and then it should be easily removed. well it wont even rotate 4 degrees either way. i can drift it by inserting a rod and hammer tapping it but only so far until its stopped by the internal wall.
any ideas on how i can loosen this thing, or if i should stop trying and take it to a smith? please help!!!!
