Barrels for H&K USP

I have an HK USP 9MM SD pistol with an extended threaded barrel. I would like to get an extra standard length factory H&K barrel for this model that would fit flush with the slide. I had always thought that barrels were “drop-in” type components, where they could just be replaced without any gunsmithing or fitting required. Ideally I would just like to drop it in and go. Then I found out that this may not be the case with some barrels and some pistols. Would this be the case with factory H&K barrels for H&K pistols? Would I need to do any kind of fitting in order for it to work reliably?

I found a source that offers factory H&K barrels for $100. Is this a good deal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can purchase barrels from HK with will drop in. You may also want to look around at used barrels since many choose to switch to a threaded barrel and ditch the standard.
