I attended an gunshow on Saturday and was looking for an informal target 9mm auto. This one particualr dealer with a great rep had a Kimber Target 9mm and an H&K USP/SD 9mm. He indicated that the H&K was every bit as accurate as the Kimber. I weighed the various options, attributes and prices and selected the H&K primarily due to past positive experience with a USP 45, the $100 price savings, and the ability to use it as a combat gun as well. I won't be able to shoot it until the weekend, but am curious on your thoughts on this pistol. It has adjustable target grade sights, extended barrel with threads for a flash suppressor, two 15 round clips, nylon case, cleaning kit, pretty much a turn key target rig. I have always heard that the H&K 9mm USP is an exceptional pistol. This was kind of a leap of faith purchase. I hope that for the money, I made the right choice.

From what I have heard an my own experiances with firearms, as long as you feel comfy with it in your hands, the HK with be a pleasure.

All the high end handguns are basically the same in accuracy (with the exception of the customs and what not) but feel different to each person. Feature such as the slide release, clip release and saftey differ from one company to the other.

Like I said, if the Hk felt good in your hand and the features were what you wanted, then there should be no reason you wont love the new toy.

Goodluck and have fun!
