Base pin stuck on Blackhawk

Get some penetrating solvent or oil in there, you can warm it gently to help loosten it, then wiggle or tap with something non marring like brass.

Is this a old model or new model Blackhawk?

Anyway, there should be a semi-circle relief cut in the base pin flange that must be aligned with the barrel curvature.

If you put it in and it wasn't aligned right, it will be stuck!

You need to use some leather padded pliers to turn the base pin until the relief cut aligns with the barrel, and it should then come right out.

Speaking of Ruger BH base pins. How are you taking the base pin all the way out. I just purchased a brand new .41 BH after getting it home I attempted to remove the base pin to clean the revolver. The base will not come all of the way put because it hits the finger tab (not sure of correct terminology) of the ejector rod. Am I doing something wrong here?

336A, depending on the length of the cartridge; the base pin can only usually be totally removed on the 7 1/2" barrel guns, without removing the ejector housing.
