I've owned several Sigs through the years. I always liked them (226's and 220's) but the only one that I ever really "bonded" with was the 220. However, my particular 220 was not a good example of Sig's reputation for being an out of the box super-shooter.
My particular 220 had some issues (Exeter version) and I could never really trust it. I've always read about how great the true West German pistols were. I thought, yea, maybe. So I've been on the lookout for WG for about a year, but didn't want to mortgage the house to get one!
I finally found a WG 220 at a super-duper price . . . . and guess what? My particular WG 220 is a much better pistol than my particular Exeter 220 was.
Now, I really get it. I think I've bonded . . . .
