For those so inclined, Bass Pro Shop (at least the one at Arundel Mills) has UMC 9mm 250 round boxes on sale for $24.99.

Comes out a bit cheaper than the WWB at Wally World.

Thanks Norton. If my appointment gets cancelled tommorrow I might have to make a road trip. I do have plenty of 9mm, but I guess you can't have too much.

Any other ammo on sale?

They did have Remington Game Loads on sale for $1.99 per 25....can't remember all the specs...12 gauge, 2 3/4, 6 shot, 1 ounce???????

I think that's right....

They also had UMC .223 on sale for a little better than Wal Mart's WWB.

Unless that price includes shipping your still better buying at WW at $10.89in our area for White box 100's.

There's a Bass Pro not that far from my house. I might just have to make a little drive this weekend.

Satch,

Good point.....I happen to leave within reasonable distance of the Bass Pro at Arundel Mills.....good gun counter staff up there.

They are packed in 50 round plastic trays like the regular 50 round boxes and then stacked 5 high in the big box. When you open them, lay them on their side and pull the little cardboard tab and all 5 trays will slide out.

I guess they learned their lesson last year when they had WWB/50 for $3.88 & we all ordered so much that they were back ordered for months  . Even at a little bit higher on the supply/demand curve it is still a good deal.

Question for those of you with a Bass near you:
Does yours sell any handguns besides .22 target and black powder pistols? Hwere in Savannah, they opened a huge stoe, and besides rifles, that's all they carry. I was wondering if it's the norm, or just this store's policy.

..Joe

PS: I'm don't want to hijack this thread, so if a couple of you answer, that's all I need. Thanks.

Not near me. If it isn't "sporting use" (I guess hunting golblins doesn't count  ) then they have no use for it. They'll sell you the ammo & cleaning supplies but not the launching platform.

Bass Pro at Arundel Mills (near Baltimore) has some Taurus revolvers that look like centerfire, but I can't confirm.

The Bass Pro at Arundel Mills does carry centerfire as well as rimfire Taurus Revolovers. Before the safety lock law, they used to carry MKII's and Ruger Revolvers.

Wonder if they will ever put the WWB on sale for 3.88 again? I got there the second morning for them and they just laughed at me and wrote me a raincheck (which they did call as soon as they got it in). Good guys up there from what I have seen/heard.
