Since it seems that most of our experiences at the big chain stores seems to be so negative, I thought I'd just pass along my good experience with the Arundel Mills Bass Pro today.

I had some time to kill so naturally I gravitated to somewhere close by to look at some gun stuff:evil:

After looking around at some stuff I came upon some of the Winchester AA loads at a reasonable (for MD anyway) price. They had some of the "regular" Xtra-Lite target loads (1 oz/#8) and some others that were 26 grams/#8 shot. Not being particularly adept at metric conversions I ended up speaking with a fella working the ammo aisle named Tim.

Tim talked to me a little bit about the differences in the loads and mentioned that those were the best hulls for reloading. Not being a reloader, but curious about it, I asked him what he liked as far as reloaders.

Tim spent about the next 20 minutes or so showing me the various reloaders, explaining the different types of loads and how you went about producing your own shells, etc.

Turns out he's really into sporting clays and gave me the low-down on all of the Eastern Shore clay ranges and so forth.

Anyway...if you're at the Bass Pro near DC....there's at least one employee there who can help you out
:p
