Bayonet for Bessie

I posted this question in my other thread about my First Pattern Brown Bess, but as it was divergent enough from my original question, I thought I'd post it separately. I am sorry if you find it annoying that I did this, but I'd like to find an answer.

For a First pattern Brown Bess, did they use a plug bayonet? If not, what was used?

I am going for something that would be appropriate for a Jacobite impression.

I don't know what's authentic, but Cabela's sells a socket-style bayonet "to complete the authenticity of the [Pedersoli] musket."

And it's only $164.99

When most folks say "Jacobite Rebellion", they usually mean the last rebellion that ended at Culloden, 1746. By that time the First Model King's Musket had a socket bayonet, as they mentioned above.

OH BTW....., IF you have a First Model of Indian origian, the Pedersoli bayonet WONT fit on it. The diameter of the barrels on the 1st Models are waaaay too big for the Italian made bayonets.
