Hello,
I have an old Brown Bess that was purchased about 1975. I believe it to be the first land pattern. The problem is the gun was in the hands of another for years and the barrel has some issues and is only usable for blanks. Now, I want to take it out for live fire. I need a new barrel. But, I seem to be having problems finding one. I am relatively handy. So fitting a new barrel that isn't quite the same dimensions is doable. But, I'd just rather drop, drill it and shoot it.

Any suggestions on where I can fine a new tube for this gun?

If you can't get a new tube, consider having the old one relined by Bobby Hoyt of Der Freischutz Shop.
