Bayonet Help

im looking for an OKC3S and cant find a good price im trying to find the cheapest price possable and ive come up dry with most being in the 130-150 range
ive seen a few on ebay but i dont trust ebay for anything

also i have a question about the OKC fitting a mossberg 590 does anyone know for sure?

and if we cant find an OKC can anyone find a good M9 for cheap online?

im almost possative the M9 will fit the mossberg

i compaired the two side by side ina local store (a way overpriced local store) and the OKC was shorter and that had me wonder about fitment

There's no reason to expect a bayonet made for an M4 to fit on a shotgun. Barrel diameters just aren't equivalent. That puts the OKC and the M9 out of running.

wow HSO normaly you do your homework but im talking about the mossberg 590 that is the marine/army shotgun of choice and it in fact has a bayonet lug and they dont ring the barrel there is a plug at the end of the magazine tube for the bayonet to hang from and i know for fact that an M9 fits but the OKC3S is a bit longer in the handle on an M4 it would fit due to the fact that there is no stop for the ring on the rifles flash supressor

i was hopeing someone who had experience with both bayonets and the firearm would have experimented with this before buying two $150+ bayonets "just to see" is a bit preposterous

I'd handled a lot of Mossberg 590's at gunshows, but I never saw a bayonet lug or the tube cap you'd mentioned. The picture above shows both with the older bayonet.

I can't say whether the OKC fits the shotgun though.

i never knew there was a 590 without a lug untill a few months ago lol

Never seen a 590 with a lug. The 8 round 500's we sold in the shop took a standard M16 bayonet. Bayonets on shotguns are silly. Doesn't mean you should have one though. Bayonets on anything are silly.

wow another person that hasnt seen a 590 with a bayo lug?

and Sun id have to state that a bayo on a hd shotgun is silly or on a hd rifle

but i can garauntee if you asked any of the WWII vets if they thought a bayonet was silly i bet youd get an earfull

i want the bayonet to just have it i dont plan on ever useing it and IMHO a military piece isnt complete without a bayonet it should be considered part of the gun

just like if you bought an M1 Garand or a Springfield A303
