I’ll start by saying.
I’m not a huge fan of BCA. Their QC sucked horribly the last time I had any dealings with them. Granted, that was 6 years or so ago.
Over the last month or two I’ve got kinda build it happy.
I had everything in my carts to build another SPR. But I was looking at about 2k. And was gonna pull it all out of OT paycheck. Decided to just re do my 12.5” since I don’t shoot it really.
Then I started looking and seen the 22mag from from BCA. I did some looking and watched reviews. I did t see anything bad about them. I wanted a easy little plinker that I don’t have to chase brass down for. I’ve got ruger 22/45s. I wanted something I can pop a coyote with if chance comes up. Or anything else.
I sent a couple scopes out to RMA. The 458 socom started knocking some dust loose in the ocular box on my 1-4 pst gen 1. So it went in. And I’ve had an atibal styler 1-4 sitting for about 3.5yrs cause the 458/50 Beowulf killed the reticle in it. I’ll probably put the Stryker on this one. I need another mount for it. Or some rings. I’ve got some magpul buis coming tomorrow. That’ll make due for a while for it.
Stuck the griffin taper mount on it so I can throw a suppressor on it if I want. Ws thinking of putting a trilug on it so I could use my omega 9k so I ordered a trilug.
Took it out the other day finally after putting my sig tango msr off my 300 blackout on it.
First 2 mags ran flawless. Had one fail to extract and one fail to feed on the 3rd. But since then I’ve finished the 125rn box and haven’t had any issues. I didn’t end up spraying it down with some triflow and that seemed to fix it. I’m still gonna play with an h2 buffer then the supplied buffer setup to see how it runs.
Overall. I’m pretty impressed with it. I may even get another one and a psa complete lower just to have two of them. Now I just need to stock up ammo for it.
Added pics of the buffer system I used in it. Compared to the supplied on the right. I’m gonna try the dedicated buffer in the carbine spring too. Also a springco blue spring with the h1 and h2 buffer spring. The supplied buffer is 1.6oz.

Just an update on the 22mag and where it sits now.
Added a pst gen 1 1-4x. After this pic. Been playing with my omega 9k on it and it’s surprisingly pleasant to shoot.
Now just waiting for my t3 to get released from atf detention.
