What's the real number of muzzleloading firearms, by real I mean the number you give when your wife ain't around! :D

I'll start.

I got a rifle, a 16 guage shotgun that normally gets fed BP shells. Three Remington sixguns and a single shot derringer, an old Iver Johnson I shoot blackpowder with, two NAA cap and ball .22's, and two homemade single shots.

2 smokepoles
9 pistols

Your turn! :)

I have two .50 caliber Hawken rifles. One is a TC and the other one is made by Traditions and is left handed:

I have a Traditions .50 caliber "Trapper" pistol, a Uberti 3rd Model Dragoon and three Pietta 1858 New Army's.......

Currently, I have 31 black powder guns. Rifles, pistols, and a 10 gauge double shotgun. A couple inlines, a couple flinters, but mostly percussion. Most of them could probably go by the wayside, but I have a hard time getting rid of stuff.

I have a 50 cal Traditions Pursuit II. Sits in the corner somewhere collecting dust. I bought it several years ago to get an extra 2 weeks for deer hunting here. Took it to the range, shot it 4 times, put it away and haven't looked at it since. Too much work and hassle. I guess I'm lazy, just want to put the shell in and pull the trigger, no fuss, no muss. I'll sell it and won't have another.

Hmmm! Had to keep a list. I have 21 BP guns: rifles, pistols and shotguns. Add 2 more to include modern guns I use with BP cartridges: Vaquero 45 Colt revolver and a Rolling Block in 45-70. Then there are those two rifle kits I haven't started ....

Good thing I live an easy and scenic drive to get bulk black powder.

I have 5 revolvers, three are for display and the other two are shooters. Of the five, I have one 2nd generation Colt ’51 Navy, two 3rd generation Colt’s a ’62 Police and a ’49 Pocket and two Taylor’s & Company shooters a ’51 Navy with a R&D conversion cylinder and a ’62 Police. One rifle a custom built 45 caliber Vincent from Ohio that I never use and will probably sell as my revolvers are my real hobby.
Pics to follow.

I have four

2 Pietta 1851 Colt navies
A Pietta 1860 Colt army
A Euroarms Rogers and Spencer

At one time I had a Pietta Spiller and Burr as well, but I didn't care for it, and I sold it.

Let's see; 2 percussion Hawkins, 1 flint Hawkins, 1 flint Kentucky style, 2 ROA's, 1 Walker(ASM), 1 Colt Navy(ASM), 1 baby dragoon(ASM), and a NAA companion 22 c&b. I guess that makes 10, so far...:evil::what:

If you shoot black powder loaded shells in a modern gun does that count? Perhaps an anonymous poll of "BP" Cartridge guns and Muzzle loaders would be interesting. Considering the almost certainty that some State or Federal busybody is monitoring this forum most would be reluctant to give information that could come back to them. "Just because I'm paranoid does not mean that they aren't out to get me!"

I would have to guess around 50 long arms or so and close to that in pistols maybge more never counted them all. I know for sure 4 cannon, do they count?
Now yow know why I do not waste my time cleanning them, and yes the wife knows about them and complains that the house is a mess, and why cant I put that crap in the tool shed.

I try to keep a very tight reign on my irons, but I have to admit two new C&B Ubertis somehow appeared in the past few months.

ROA, Colt .36 Navy copy, kit .40 cal Deringer , T/C Hawken, Sile Hawken Hunter, Savage MLII and one .50 mini-cannon.

Almost last place in this listing.

What time is it?
I have 34 percussion guns but some are for sale so the number fluctuates.

15 rifles
3 shotguns
11 revolvers
5 single shot pistols
