Bear creek arsenal 300wm

I have had problems with my ultra-poor BCA.

But having said that, I've been trying to find a good semi -06 that I can thrash guilt-free for a long time.

I was gonna try a garand, but I think the BCA "masters" series will be the ticket.

I'll likely be in for one after a year or so of market beta testing

I've only had one bad upper from bca, and it was only a loose barrel nut. All of the other uppers I've seen from them have been budget, but totally functional.

Ive been waiting since they announced this last August. It will be the only semi auto box fed 300 win mag with a greater 4 capacity that costs less than $4,000 that I am aware of. I know bca qc is hit or miss, but I have had decent luck with them and the few people I know who buy their products have also had pretty good luck. I have a 450bm upper and bcg made by them, its worked just fine, no loose screws or nothing. I also purchased one of their barrels to go on one of my ar's after the original barrel had been shot out. I went with a stainless steel 1:8 twist and its also worked fine. I've never tried to do any long distance target shooting with it but it can pop a drink can at 50 yards with a cheap red dot, good enough for me.

Same, they may have some problems now and then but so do other makers, tho I wish they start making some different barrels like they used to and more contours seems like most are hbar and other lighter contours are always out of stock. Really surprised they haven't done a 6mms ARC yet.

I am surprised also, I would like to have one in 22 or 24" with a heavy SS or Nitride barrel, I'm not sure about the side chargers but I would try one. I have purchased a few uppers and a few friends have also, I've had no issues with any of their products.

There normally on top of new rounds the last 5-6 years but not the arc for some reason, they make 243 stuff so it's not like they don't want to spend money for 6mm stuff. I'm not a huge fan of the side chargers, rather just have a normal upper.

I'm waiting for the pricing to come out... If they can somehow get it way cheaper than Noreen, yet still half the quality, I'll be tempted to get one in 300wm.

The Noreen has a MSRP of $3500. That's a good bit more, imo.
I was thinking about the 30-06 version which is 2700ish, however, as dad and I have an FFL, we get about a 300 dollar discount if we order one through the business. We should probably start advertising that we can order them, cause if we go ahead and buy one, no one will buy it, but if we advertise we can order them, someone will want one.

Yeah, I thought the Noreen was $3500+. Bca has the lowest price for functional guns in all the categories, and their AR-10 rifles are selling for cheaper than a lot of other companies ar-15 rifles. I'd bet these shake out at the inexpensive end of their reported price estimate.

Agreed. I figure right around 2k flat after tax and shipping. If it functions, unbeatable price. Being that it is a new design for them, I worry about flaws, their qc is not known for their excellence. Also, they went with a light profile barrel. I would have preferred a heavy barrel, the rifle is going to be heavy anyway, may as well make "heavy duty" a selling point. I will pre order this as soon as it is available though, at it's price point it peaks my curiosity, plus their factory is less than an hours drive for me and I like buying things made in my state.

Sounds like a win, if my house sale hadn't fallen through this morning I'd be pre ordering too. I may still if the finances can be made to work. The way I see it, if you're going up in weight to an ar-10 that isn't a carbine, why not go all the way!
