Ya that would be nice, I like the aero stuff, like to use there lowers for my next build.I really wish Aero, or one of the other mid priced manufacturers, would do a light weight side charger.

Ya it's kinda weird, from what I've seen they will try to get it fixed or parts replaced or do a hole new upper.interesting, im surprised they didnt just offer you a different one.
The bolt handle on that one looks different than mine, so maybe it was a specific run or something

Does the side chargers still have a regular charging handle? I was wondering what would happen if the side charging handle broke or fell off.
stick a bullet in the handle hole and use it to cock the gun....Does the side chargers still have a regular charging handle? I was wondering what would happen if the side charging handle broke or fell off.
few mins with a mill and id probably loose some fingers lol.A few minutes with a mill you could make any upper side charge.
I've looked into doing it, it's pretty straightforward. I would like to get a fightlight, but there really killing themselves priced so high.few mins with a mill and id probably loose some fingers lol.
Theres a shop here in town manned buy guys that find weird ideas interesting so might hit them up.
This would be going on a fightlight lower so id need someone to poke a hole in the bc anyway.
