Beeswax as case lube

Anything you have to spend money on is more expensive than what you have on hand.

Using something inappropriate can cost you more in the long run, not just in monies, but time, effort and safe reliable ammo. STP is said to deaden primers. Using it or anything else with the same ingredients may mean you can contaminate your primers that could lead to misfires, especially when used in excess. Sticking a case or crushing multiple cases over time can equal the cost of a small tube/bottle of appropriate lube. Your Lee Hand Press is a low volume type tool and a tube/bottle of lube will last you a long time.

I seriously doubt that Beeswax would work as a case lube. There are a lot of different recipes for using it to make bullet lube for cast bullets. There are enough things that are proven to work well as case lube that its not worth the risk of sticking a case trying different things.

I like the Lanolin/Alcohol spray better than anything else that I have used. But a quart of wax based wire pulling lube or a can of Mink Oil that you use on your leather boots will work ok and is cheap.

So I got a Lee had press for Christmas. I’m trying to get my reloading kit set up as cheaply as possible. I’ve got a lot of beeswax available to me for free. Can that be used as a case lubricant?
Good to see'
Take your time on piecing together the tools, myself I think Wilson first but that's just me

Judging by the description of Hobo Oil on their web site, I'd say you can save quite a bit of money by buying a quart of Mobil 1.

There's more to it than that, Brunos carries it now also Bart Bullets carries uses and endorses.
I prefer to support the little guy if an opportunity presents itself also.
