Good post.

Another picture idea that popped into my head when I first saw it: Do one from the front and one from the rear with the same pose, with a pistol in SOB that's only visible in the second picture. Front picture has first line, rear picture has second line.

Make sense? Sort of like Nancy Cameron's centerfold for those that can remember that far back:

Links NSFW. Mods can remove if posting these links is a no-no.
Front (NSFW)

Rear (NSFW)

I like cuervo's idea better (pictures too but that is another issue  ). The exact same pose but a shot from the rear with a SOB holster or a pancake way behind the hip in plain view.

Cammo pants are very comfortable but to many of the people who's opinion you are trying to sway they just scream "redneck" & give them an excuse to dismiss the whole thing out of hand (while smugly feeling morally superior :barf: ).

I'll re-shoot without camo pants and make another variant of it. I tried for a date look with the dress and he rifle to make it more of a "traditional family". Probably wouldn't look out of place in a 1970s Rhodesia.

Why not an Enfield? It's the closest I have to a civilian centerfire rifle here and 303 has accounted for plenty of dangerous animals over time. Rule 303, matey!

Just one? hehe

PS Hey cuervo, thanks for NSFWing the links. Some people don't do that and I can get in big trouble otherwise!

Another great photo Oleg. I have always enjoyed the eye you have for a topic we all hold dear. Pictures speak louder than words when you have a camera in hand. I wish more Americans believed as fervently in the Second Amendment as you do.

Excellent!

And there ain't nothing wrong with a No.4 Lee-Enfield. It is still a formidable weapon, even if it isnt' tacticablingalicious.

A great one for the choir, Oleg. Several details make it less useful for outreach.

Just on a technical level, I found it odd to see her dressed differently while he was dressed the same in both shots.

Yes, good simple message but I too think the camo pants are a tad ''inflammatory'' - just some ordinary pants would do fine.

I would for myself change the text to --

"Behind every family should be the readiness to protect it"

Pedantic I know but I think it reads better.

Oleg,

Just sugestion. Can you put a link to the hi-res version (if you have one) as I have a growing collection of your art and it would make it nice and easy to get your recent your.

Thanks.
