Belly bands, running, and EDC

I just got an ACE CASE belly band, and I was wondering if anyone has ever used one of these while running? I have a Glock 27, that is my smallest gun. How do they hold up with somewhat larger guns, like a CZ PCR? I bet that would not be comfortable, because of the slide release.

Also, is it a good way to carry in lieu of a regular holster?

where did you get this? midway has been out of stock in normal sizes for a while now.

I would like to try one myself. I have a SW9VE, it's a bit bigger than a G27 but not much.

I've got a 9VE too, haven't tried it in it yet, but my CZ PCR fit pretty well.

I got mine from Cheaper than Dirt.
