So this week due to a lower back injury (which is coming up on 12 years old now and getting worse) I realized that I had to find a new method for carrying my EDC firearms.,as the usual method of an appendix IWB holster is r going to work any longer. Due to my back which cause chronic pain daily just about,I've not work a belt of any kind in probably 5 years now.
So jump to now and I'm in my LGS this past weekend and noticed they had a desantis belly band holster in stock. I figured well for $45 what the heck it's worth a shot right? Long story short, I wish I tried one of these 20 years ago! This is by far the most comfortable and concealable method I've used so far for carrying an EDC firearm.
So enough back story I guess. My question is does anyone here have any experience with the Galco underwraps belly band 2.0 holster? If so do you feel it's one of the better ones available?
I love this desantis belly band holster but also like the idea of the leather holster pockets on the Galco too. Thanks for any help and advice on this everyone. FYI my two EDC firearms are a Colt king Cobra carry 2 inch barrel model in 357 magnum and a S&W M&P340CT 357 Magnum. The Colt is sweet though and it's replaced the M&P340CT as my EDC. Both carry and disappear equally well in the desantis belly band holster.
