Thanks Hkmp5sd, thanks all.....I'll wade through it and see if I can make it go. Hopefully, the reciprocal agreements will continue to grow until all states recognize it (the Florida license).

Wish Texas would take a similar aggressive action to do the same.

for JohnbBT. since you are in Va.

quote:
Unfortunately, for a hundred and some bucks it still doesn't help with legal carry in the the surrounding jurisdictions: N. Carolina, W. Va., Maryland and D.C. How did we end up surrounded by such turkeys?

Va honors W Va. and W Va. honors Va. see
http://www.packing.org/leave.cgi?redir=http://www.ninehundred.com/~equalccw/wvva.html[/URL]

Va. honors NC and NC does honor Va.
Again, check out packing.org for NC and Va.
I had to read it three times to get it right

As for Merryland and DC, may they see the light of day soon
and reduce the crime rate by easing CC rules.
((@#$% I'm too polite to really say what I think of them)

I maybe mistaken here, but as I read Michigans recip page wrong (which is possible) they will accept any states CWP. Michigan state carry rules apply however.

"Non-residents of Michigan wishing to carry a concealed pistol in Michigan:

If you are a non-resident of Michigan with a valid concealed pistol permit from your home state, Michigan will recognize your permit. However, you must carry in conformance with any and all restrictions appearing on the permit. You are subject to Michigan’s concealed pistol law including but not limited to restrictions on where a concealed pistol may be carried. Please review the information provided on this website for further information.

Michigan Reciprocity Page (kinda vague)

If you are referring to Michigan taking a Florida non-resident license, the catch phrase is
If you are a non-resident of Michigan with a valid concealed pistol permit from your home state
Unless the address on a Florida CCW is actually inside Florida, they will not accept it.

macmuffy, I checked and checked again. The way I read NC's page on packing.org, they don't honor ANYBODY else's CCW.

Viking6; I do beleive you be correct.

relooked at my sources/notes and was a case of fat fingers to eye
coordination and lack thereof.......(too much beer??)

NC just plain don't like no out-of-staters packing concealed.
Just have to carry a baseball bat and glove when we visit.

We still be legal with TN. KY. & WVA.
