Hi all.
My Benelli which I've recently bought has a strange fault.
When firing 28 gram shells (birdshot) the bolt carrier is ejecting the shell and chambering the next one, BUT it's occasionally falling to go fully forward.
The bolt is going 9/10s of the way forward, but when it comes to rotate that final bit so the firing pin is poised to be in the final position it's stopping.
Someones told me it could either be the guns not 'fired-in' yet, the bolt needs more oil (possible) or even the 28 gram shells aren't powerful enough for reliable cycling. The latter seems odd as it's already done the main bit it's just the final part of the cycle it's falling down on.
Thoughts and previous experience from Benelli owners appreciated.
