Quick question....If I trade my 870 express in on a benelli montefeltro will I be disappointed? I plan to shoot mainly skeet but I do some turkey hunting which is why I am afraid I might miss my 870. Also does 399 sound like a good price for the Benelli? It is in good working order but has mismatched stocks for some reason, and it is right handed I believe and I am a lefty so I hope this will not be an issue b/c I like the feel of the gun. Thanks for the help as I am a complete novice when it comes to shotguns.

I have both ...

I love my Montefeltro... had it for 15/20 years now... only had one hangup ... that was with a reloaded Actvi all plastic hull ... it had a bad burr that I cut off (on the rim) ... put it back in and kept shooting...

$399 is a good price for that gun if it is in good working order... they are over $1000 new now ...

Keep the 870 and buy the Montefeltro too... you won't be sorry

thanks....ended up gettin a franchi i-12 the benelli was pretty banged up

the Monty will beat the crap out of you, if you are a serious skeet shooter. As a real small bird gun, none better...

Even the Franchi - as light as it is and with its long recoil design will beat you up after a few rounds of skeet compared to a good gas gun like a Beretta 39X series
