I have no experience with it.

However it looks like it is going down the road as only a blip on the radar next to most less expensive ARs. It has questionable asthetics and I predict it will only attract the "Benelli crowd"

Yup, proven in all of those conditions, actually. The ARGO system is used in the Benelli M4 shotgun (M1014, in military configuration) and was adopted by the USMC as their combat shotgun. I don't think it gets much more proven than that.

While I am sure Benelli has done their homework, that really doesn't equal the fifty years of field and combat use that the M16 family has seen.
