Hi Guys, I am new to this forum but love the reading.
Interested in purchasing the new Benelli R1 rifle. Available (synthetic stock only) with ComforTech recoil dampening system, which Benelli claims to reduce the felt recoil by 50%. Being a small guy, magnum caliburs are brutal, this is why I'm prepaired to blow a lot of dough to purchase this rifle. I do a lot of moose, bear, deer, and with a trip to Alberta this fall for Elk. Interested in the 300 mag calibur.
Has anyone fired this new rifle and what do you think, mainly about the felt recoil?
