Best Trap Shotgun:

There is no "Best Trap" shotgun. The one that fits good and looks as good as you can afford is the best. The guy that said that the Cynergy was the best or under 400.00 has not been shopping in a while. They sell for 1,600 to 5,000. I own the Cynergy Sporting model and find it to be great. The fit and finish is nice and the gun handles superbly. It was 2,700, quite a bit more than 400dollars. My best shotgun is my 1987 Citori Sporting Clay model. This gun has worn in, not out. It just keeps getting better the more I shoot it. It has the Gra-Coil recoil system that lets me shoot all day without a sore shoulder. I have Browning, Beretta and Benelli. All fit well and look real nice. Get the gun. that fits you well. If it don"t fit, you wont hit S%&t. Good luck.

look at a yildiz i have one that i bought for dove season and have popped a few rabbits with it enxpensive at 399.99 for o/u and has ejectors and when put on safty the firing pin is disengaged has automatic selectorscomes with all five chokes www.yildizshotguns.com they are sold exclusively at any academy so go check one out they are a little stiff at first but after u go through a box of shells they lossen up im very satisfied with the gun it great and looks great i bought the spz me o/u oh and weight 6.38 lbs so lighter than many pumps so invest in a libsaver pad

I forgot to mention the Ruger Red Label. It is a great gun except for the finish on the rcvr. Looks like a kitchen sink. It has to be polished to a chrome finish. The service dept is great if you ever have a problem. Fit and finish are nice. Not too expensive either.

I also have a 20 ga. Montefeltro, and it's my all-time favorite shotgun. Light as a feather and I hit darn near everything with it. I don't consider it a do-it-all, as I don't hunt waterfowl, turkey, deer, etc. with a 20. I also agree with another poster that Brownings are typically big, heavy, and clunky. The Franchi I-12 uses the Benelli inertial recoil system under license (same parent company - Beretta). I have a Super Black Eagle I that is pretty much a do-it-all, and I don't think it kicks very bad unless you're doing a high volume of shooting or using 3.5" loads. For the all-around gun, I'd certainly look hard at the SBE II with Comfortech.
