Berdan to Boxer Conversion

I am currently converting brass cases from Berdan to Boxer primers using the method in the below video. I currently have Berdan .308 and 7.62x39. I removed primers and drilled out the Berdan anvils.

My concern is that when I drilled out the anvils, in some of the brass, there is no brass separating the Boxer center flash hole from either one or both of the Berdan side flash holes. In most cases, there is only a very thin amount of brass between the center Boxer flash hole and the Berdan side flash holes. Does this matter? And before any geniuses tell me I need to drill smaller center flash holes no, I am using the smallest drill bit that will still allow the de-capping die to punch out expended primers.

Has anyone done these conversions? I am mostly interested because while I have some .308 and 7.62x39 brass, I really want to be able to convert and reload my 7.5x55 GP11 brass.

I appreciate any feedback or insight. Thanks!

I have done this on 7.62x54r works great just takes time on the initial conversion. After a few heavy reloads the copper will start to flow out and you have to press in a new piece. If you stick to light loads it lasts much longer. I like the brass cases more because easier to drill out.

I've tried this, save up and buy your brass. Unless you have more time on your hands than you know what to do with.

I have done this Years ago. It is not worth the time , Effort, and material to do this. unless all your time is worthless. My suggestion to to Buy The brass New.
The Only cartridge I still do Is 43 spanish Berdan. with the 6.45 MM. Primer. Since I located 6.45 MM boxer Primers, Yes they make them, I have stopped that also
