Beretta 21A barrel removal

Any words of warning removing the barrel pin on the Beretta 21A to install a new barrel?

Oil it up and smack it with a mallet and pin punch. Is it staked in or do they use a rivet head? I forgot. If it's a rivet head you will have to grind it off on one side and putting it back together could be a challenge.

Staked. Wasn't sure if there is a specific direction in which to remove the pin (which side).
