Does anyone have, or has actually seen with their own eyes, Beretta's .22 conversion kit for the Beretta 92 series pistols.

I am referring to the one from the Beretta factory -- http://products.berettausa.com/frame_tabellaprodotti_2002.asp?sgmt=31&Model=22 LR Conversion Kit -- not the one by Ceiner -- http://www.22lrconversions.com/ber-pg.htm .

The reason I am asking is I inquired with my usual dealer, and his suppliers told him not only has it been discontinued, but they have never had them in stock. They think it was never actually manufactured (ie - "vaporware").

Any information would be appreciated.

No, but I hear lots of complaints about the various .22 conversions by Kimber and Ciener. I bought a brand new Ruger Mk II for about $375 that shoots 1/2" groups at 25 yards. Not sure why I would want to spend about $250 for a .22 top to drop on my other gun that shoots like crap.

The Beretta unit is great. I have one, and would recommend you scoot over to one of the beretta focused forums for more research.

Not that hard to explain...

After looking at the prices of the conversion kits, it's probably a matter of the prices. The Beretta kit was $462, the Ciener kit is $199... After paying a load for a 92FS, I can't see why you'd want to pay for another one just to shoot .22's.

I shot one of the 92's with a ciener kit in it, and it was dead on accurate at 15 to 20 yards. Why spend another $262 just to have Pietro's name on it?:what:

Well, sometimes you get what you pay for. I wanted the kit to look like, function like, and feel like the 9mm, so I bought the Beretta kit (at a discounted price not MSRP). No regrets at all.

Baretta 22 conversion kit

I have an extra one of those kits that is brand new, never used. My brother used one with his Baretta that he bought because that is what he had to carry in the National Guard. He was very happy with it, although I think some of the 22 ammo performed better than others in it. I don't own a Baretta, so I'd be willing to part with it. With metal prices on the rise it's a great way to practice.

How much for Beretta Conversion Kit? recycler25

How much are you looking for that 22 kit my father in law just bought a 92fs and I know how much he loved shooting my kimber conversion.

Please advise

My email is [email protected]

Thanks

Chuck

Beretta 22 conversion

I was thinking about $300 for it. I see you can get the Ciener kit for $267, and the Beretta one is advertised for $329 + S&H though it is no longer available.

I agree that's the way to go, wish there was one for my Sig P239.

Thanks for inquiring,

Tried your email but got a failure notice.

Sold

Thanks for the interest in the Beretta 22 conversion kit, it's sold and no longer available.

Happy Shooting!
