I'm looking at a Beretta "Marshall" and like it, but are the case colors real (bone/charcoal) or just a crappy removable metal die?

Thanks,

Gary

It is the real thing, will last a lifetime with the proper care.
I have an old Beretta 12ga S/S, still has all the colour after more than 40 years.

Neil.

Well, they are actually made by Uberti, which Beretta now owns, and all of Uberti's other CC/Blue sixguns are fake case color, so if I was a betting man....
But, it doesn't look that bad, and it isn't that tender. I have two by Cimarron, and I admit I have tuned them a little, but I used to ask people to close their eyes and handle them and try to pick out my 2nd generation Colt, and most couldn't. They shoot real well too. And I know they are not Colts, but man what I bought with all that money.
