Does anyone have any ideas or gunsmith info that could help the poor trigger of my 87 target? Teddy Jacobson of "triggers by T" says on his web sight that he will not work on these pistols. Any other ideas? Thanks
Welcome to the forum. Contact Bruce at GrayGuns Inc. He is a Grandmaster gunsmith. Let him know that 45R refered yah. His email address is [email protected]. If you want to research him do a search on Sigforum. He waves his hand and the trigger is magic!!!
thanks for the info. looking on the beretta forum but I havn't found anything yet that will help. still checking
also thanks 45R... I sent off a e-mail and asked about the trigger.
Some magazine on the newststand just had a review of this gun. I read it 2 weeks ago. It may still be on the news stand, but it might have already been picked up.
Anyway, in the magazine review, they mentioned a smith who specializes in altering this gun. See if you can still find that article.
It was also mentioned on the Beretta forum. Try posting a new message for someone to give you the info from that article...
I believe it was American Handgunner, and the author was Massab Ayoob. I take everything he writes with half a pound of salt—but his articles are still worth reading.
Ayoob's article plugged Teddy Jacobson's trigger work on a Beretta done several years ago. Teddy has posted at the top of his blog that he no longer works on those guns or much of anything else.
